Several colleagues started wearing additional third party gear to keep their X-ray gowns off their chest to improve ventilation

We thought we could incorporate this into the design of the Flak Jacket™ and is where this kicked off from

Next we wanted to make the jackets tougher without adding weight and so designed our patented plate based system

The final step was to combine all of this into a sleek, functional design (think front zips, inside pockets, breast protection, thyroid collar etc)

Traditional gowns are made of several layers of heavy duty nylon, rubber/silicone and an outer PVC layer.

Our design does away with a lot of these heavy fabrics, using lighter and more advanced materials.

We have several ideas in the pipeline. The main aim is to complete the set, and create something to protect the lower half.
